First Visit

Smile City Orthodontics in Sunnyvale, Tx is a family owned private practice. This means we treat all our patients just like our family. We are here for all your orthodontic needs. At your first visit at Smile City Orthodontics, we will request you to fill a general questionnaire form. These patient forms are online so you can complete them prior to your first visit in the convenience of your own home or office. Please email us the form to [email protected] so we can verify insurance and your orthodontic benefits prior to your visit.

At your first in person visit, diagnostic records are taken using our 3D scanner and 3D X-rays. You will be seated in a consult room where Dr. Jacob and his team will do a comprehensive exam of your face, teeth, TMJ, and periodontal health. Dr. Jacob will also go over the 3D scans and 3D X-rays for an in- depth understanding of your dental problems and provide treatment recommendations.

We will then discuss your options, including different forms of braces, aligners, and retainers. We will also talk about the treatment plan, what you should expect, and the cost. Finally, we will guide you through your insurance coverage to find out if you can be covered for all or part of your treatments. We also offer same day braces! If patients feel they are ready to start their orthodontic journey with us, we can begin treatment the same day as the consultation!
